Minimum of two hours but flexible based on the needs of the Programme and Events Teams.

What will you be doing?

The role involves the following: Providing a warm, friendly welcome to all visitors to the pottery and answering queries when they arise. Planning creative activities for children and adults, assisting with events which include setting up and clearing away afterwards. Encouraging donations from members of the public and explaining how the money is spent. Promotion of guided tours and groups such as school groups. Assisting with other activities as required.

What skills are required?

-Warm and friendly personality
- Ability to think quickly and answer questions
- Be creative when thinking of activities
- Confidence to talk to people about tours, group visits and donations
