School Readers Volunteer
Reading Volunteer for Primary Schools
School reader volunteers are matched with a local primary school and visit there once a week in term time for an hour or two where they listen to children read individually and support their reading development, their comprehension, their reading enjoyment and their social skills. Our volunteers find volunteering very rewarding and enjoy watching the children's reading skills progress.
