Admin Role

You will have the opportunity of supporting the team to provide advice and guidance to professionals and customers on the range of service provided and the therapeutic benefits of animal therapy for those suffering from Dementia, Alzheimer’s and or Depression, to undertake training to become an animal handler, as well as attend events to promote the work and impact of the CIC.

Location

This is hybrid role, where volunteering is completed from home with occasional requirements for support on site at various events.

When?

As this is a new voluntary role there is no predefined minimum time commitment, however, we would be grateful if you could provide a maximum of seven (7) hours of support a week.

Could this role be carried out virtually or through a hybrid volunteering model?

Yes, with occasional face to face meetings and event support

Is a criminal record check (DBS) required for this role?

No

Is a driving license required?

No

Are expenses covered?

We will reimburse your out of pocket expenses in line with our expenses policy.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

Reading and routing incoming and outgoing emails.

Supporting bookings, for example, sending out quotations, invoices, and general admin as directed.

Responding to email and social media enquiries as directed.

Maintaining filing and storage systems in line with Data Protection and UK GDPR.

Conducting research and compiling data as directed.

Photocopying, scanning and filing appropriate documents.

Producing marketing leaflets, posters and newsletters.

Creating content for social media and publishing as directed.
