Community Space Decoration Project

SDCVS Project Reference PRJ-23-0308

Collective Revolution was founded in November 2021 as a not-for-profit group. As of June 2023, we have transitioned to a CIC organisation whilst maintaining our original goal of benefiting the local community. Our decision to transition to a CIC organisation was made after consulting with our members, who agreed that it was the best way forward. We remain committed to providing safe spaces, information, guidance, and support to our communities in Derbyshire. Our provisions and support are largely directed by community needs, and we strive to meet as many of these as possible. Our goal is to empower young people to lead fulfilling lives and to support communities in being inclusive.

The project will comprise of preparing surfaces for painting, painting the walls in the corridors and rooms located on the 2nd floor, and cleaning/tidying when complete.

Materials and equipment will be provided (for example paint, rollers, brushes, trays etc), however, the volunteers will be responsible for providing their own PPE and ensuring they are dressed appropriately and are wearing suitable footwear.
