Conservation Volunteer (Rangers)

Help us with site maintenance projects, tree work, habitat creation, conservation and wildlife surveys. There is always something to be done around the site, to keep it well maintained for the general public and enhance Rosliston Forestry Centre for our wildlife.

Rosliston Forestry Centre, Burton Road, Rosliston Swadlincote Derbyshire DE12 8JX (possible other locations by prior agreement)

What will you be doing?

Help us with site maintenance projects, tree work, habitat creation, conservation and wildlife surveys. There is always something to be done around the site, to keep it well maintained for the general public and enhance Rosliston Forestry Centre for our wildlife.

What skills are required?

Interest in conservation and possibly DIY skills, enthusiasm more important than experience. You should also have a basic level of fitness.



If you have some but not all of these skills we’d also like to meet you because we work as a team and either support you to develop new skills or pick up the tasks you aren’t interested in between the rest of us!
