Newlands Community Room Redecoration Project
South Derbyshire District Council
The Newlands Community Room is a friendly and inclusive space at the heart of the Church Gresley's neighbourhood, designed to bring people together and foster a strong sense of community. Open to all residents, it serves as a safe and accessible hub for social interaction, creative activities, and group events that promote wellbeing and connection.
Whether individuals are looking to make new friends, explore shared interests, or simply enjoy the company of others, the Community Room provides a supportive environment that encourages conversation, collaboration, and inclusion. It plays a vital role in reducing social isolation and helping residents feel valued and connected.
We are inviting corporate volunteer teams to support light refurbishment and improvement works to help maintain and enhance the space for community use.

Light decorating and painting
