The Community Ambassador Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and sustaining Community Ambassadors (‘Ambassadors’). This includes recruiting, training, motivating, encouraging and supporting all Ambassadors, enabling them to deliver effective results and reach as many people in communities as possible with the Crimestoppers message.

What will you be doing?
• Identify and contact potential Ambassadors in the area covered by the committee.
• Recruit Ambassadors and provide any training (overview of Crimestoppers objectives and activities).
• Ensure Ambassadors are sufficiently resourced (e.g. posters, leaflets, etc.) to be effective.
• To maintain a positive engagement with existing Ambassadors and ensure high levels of engagement in communities.
• Organise any Ambassadors events.
What skills are required?
Experience:
• Comfortable with speaking to senior representatives of third-party organisations.
• Ability to deliver high impact verbal and written presentations.
• Highly developed interpersonal and networking skills.
• Good organisational and research skills.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the organisation’s strategies and plans.
• Able to commit sufficient time to make the role successful; with a flexible diary.
• Existing strong connections in the region to fulfil this role.

• Facilitating and maintaining positive communications locally.
• Encouraging and nurturing local partnership working.
• Interpersonal awareness and relationship management.
• Commitment to the policies, procedures, goals and values of the charity.
