Social Media volunteers help to promote, develop and maintain our online presence. They help to promote Healthwatch Derbyshire as widely as possible to the local community through various online platforms.

What will you be doing?
Key Tasks may include:
Helping to create and work to a social media plan
Develop content for our website and social media, such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
Using social media to promote our achievements and things we are doing across Derbyshire
Encouraging others to engage and share our posts
Writing articles for our news and signposting sections of our website, to share important information
What skills are required?
Skills that might suit this role are:
An understanding of different types of marketing and social media platform
To be able to communicate effectively, with strong writing skills
Experience of using Microsoft word
Ability to transform smaller snippets of information into interesting stories
The ability to work well in a team and independently
An interest in health and social care services in Derbyshire
