What will you be doing?
Key Tasks may include:
Helping to promote Healthwatch Derbyshire by distributing posters and leaflets in your local community. This may be in places such as community centres and libraries, and also local health and social care settings like GP surgeries and pharmacies
Help to share information about health and social care groups and events in your local area
Telling people about what we do, and encouraging people to get involved
Promoting events and projects we’re doing to local people to encourage them to get involved
What skills are required?
Skills and interests that might suit this role are:
A willingness to learn about Healthwatch Derbyshire, and the role we play in the health and social care system
Knowledge of the local area and services
Communications skills to be able to explain what you are doing and why
Ability to log feedback you may hear from people within your community
Enjoying working on your own initiative and as part of a diverse team
