Church Ambassador

Tools with a Mission (TWAM)

In your local church.

As a Church Ambassador, you'll be handing out our magazine TWAM News and our Prayer Diary to your fellow church members, and you'll work with other TWAM volunteers, such as Tool Collectors, to arrange tool collections. You'll also encourage your church to support TWAM for Harvest, special collections, and regular support.

When?

It’s really up to you and how much you are willing and able to do. We would ask that you regularly try and promote TWAM to your local Church through events, handouts, and notices.

Is a driving license required?

No, although some travel required.

What will you be doing?

Our Church Ambassadors are our face and contact with the local Church. We are a Christian mission relying entirely on God's goodness, leading, and provision, and we need His Church to stand with us. Our Church Ambassadors encourage their Church to pray by distributing the Prayer Diary or arranging prayer events. They also organise Coffee Mornings to raise funds and promote the work. They ask for TWAM to be mentioned in notices or chosen for special collections. Overall, the Church Ambassadors keep TWAM close to the congregation's heart.

What you will be doing
Distributing the prayer diary and arranging prayer events in your place of worship.
Arranging coffee mornings or other events to provide funds to support the work of TWAM
Promoting TWAM and advocating for TWAM to be chosen for special collections such as Harvest

Commitment to serving your local church and passion to share the work and heart of TWAM
Being a person who church members and leaders will respect and listen to

Is training provided?

Yes, our friendly and supportive Volunteering Coordinator will be there every step of the way, providing you with all the resources and information you need to make a meaningful impact in your community.

Additional important information
