What will you be doing?

Learning Volunteers support school groups and home educators across the site to make sure they are free to explore, imagine, discover and have fun as they make memories, and leave feeling inspired and excited.

What's involved?
• Supporting engagement and interaction with schools groups and home education groups across all areas of the property, roaming agreed areas of the site to help children to make the most of their visit.
• Delivering or supporting a range of workshops, activities and sessions with visiting school groups and home education groups.
• Listening to children and schools to understand what they are looking for from their visit and helping to make this happen.
• Bringing fun to every interaction – be prepared to get involved with children’s games and imaginations.
• Leading by example, engaging children with areas of the Children’s Country House which are most interesting to them, talking to children about their experience and using your creativity to help to tell the story of Sudbury.

What skills are required?

No prior experience is necessary.
