Skills for Volunteering

Derbyshire Volunteer Passport
Volunteering is a great way to support people in Derbyshire, meet others, learn new skills and improve your own wellbeing. Whether you are thinking about volunteering for the first time or already give your time to a local group, the Volunteer Passport can help you take your next step.
The free 10-hour course, delivered by Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service (DACES), covers essential topics including equality and diversity, keeping people safe, responding to incidents, teamwork and customer care. Everyone who completes the course receives a National Open College Network accredited certificate.
You do not need any previous qualifications or volunteering experience to take part.
