As part of the RAF Association, our Connections Volunteers offer the vital connection and support our beneficiaries need. In this role, you will make a real difference by helping support a lonely individual via regular telephone calls.
Please note that we ask for a minimum of 12 months commitment to this role.

What will you be doing?
The Connections for Life (telephone befriender) role would entail making friendship telephone calls to our beneficiaries on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis and these calls would take approximately 30 minutes.
This role would be subject to a short application form, interview, reference checks and an on-line training course which is approximately 2 hours long.
As a Connections Volunteer, you will have the support of a dedicated coordinator as your point of contact. A RAF or forces background is not essential, and we welcome applications from all areas of the community.
