We are seeking and enthusiastic volunteer to join our team as our Publicity Officer for the Moira Canal Festival.
Location
Remote with occasional meetings at Snarestone, Leicestershire

Two (2) hours a week, plus attendance at monthly committee meetings, plus attendance at Moira Canal Festival 2026 (Friday 15th to Sunday 17th May 2026)

What will you be doing?
Publicity is required specifically for all non-on-line methods of promotion, to catch those not into Facebook etc, who fall through the promotional gaps. (A number of visitors come every year, they just need to be reminded of the dates). There would be a need to liaise with the Festival Website Manager, provide information to the website, or assist if you have website design skills. DTP/Graphic design skills would be useful but not essential; access to a computer and basic literacy and word processing skills are required.
The current publicity officer is taking up the entertainment officer role, and will still be available to provide background information, useful contact details, photographs of previous events and any other information needed.
