What will you be doing?
Join our friendly team and help welcome visitors on our front desk, support our popular arts and crafts activities, assist with the care and presentation of our fascinating collections, and help keep the museum, shop and exhibition spaces looking their best.
What skills are required?
No previous experience is necessary, just a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic approach. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and will provide guidance and training for the role, including how to use the museum's till and support the day-to-day running of the museum.
Volunteers should be happy to work as part of a team, enjoy meeting people, and be willing to help with a variety of tasks. An interest in museums, local history, arts and crafts or customer service would be an advantage, but is not essential.
