Our mission is to provide enriching art experiences and educational projects for children with life-limiting illnesses and disabilities across the UK. We are seeking the help of volunteers who can spare some of their valuable time to help us.

Enter and view representatives are trained to visit health and care services, to see how services are running in action. They speak with service users and their families, and staff to find out what people think of services.

Networkers help to raise the profile of Healthwatch Derbyshire, and help tell local people what we do and how they can get involved.

Social Media volunteers help to promote, develop and maintain our online presence. They help to promote Healthwatch Derbyshire as widely as possible to the local community through various online platforms.

Our Community Engagement Volunteers’ help us to develop our projects and find out what local people think about health and care services they use.

An ideal volunteering opportunity for individuals who do not have the time to
dedicate to being part of the committee, but want to support the work of
Crimestoppers in local communities by providing more ‘casual’ one-off
volunteering for specific events or projects, and otherwise spreading the
Crimestoppers message.

To promote, develop and maintain our online and offline presence in order to maximise our impact and to promote ourselves as widely as possible to the local community.

The role of the Fundraiser is to raise the funds required for the Committee to deliver campaigns and events.

Primarily, a Fundraiser will increase the contributions of individuals and groups to our charity by building relationships and exploring new fundraising opportunities from various sources, such as a bid to a trust, or seeking support from a local business, working with major donors and planning and delivering fundraising events.

Networking is a key part of this role as depends heavily on being able to forge positive relationships with supporters and funding organisations.

Fundraisers also work to raise awareness of the charity's work, aims and goals.

To be the voice of young people and represent Fearless and young people on the Crimestoppers Committee within your area.

Secure opportunities to work with partners to promote our Fearless materials and messaging to the 11 - 17 year old age group within your area, reaching out to professionals and local organisations.

To assist the Regional Manager and/or Fearless Worker with the local delivery of Crimestoppers’ work with young people using Fearless specific materials in the community. This may involve attending local community events such as holding stalls at Freshers Fairs at colleges, Premier League Kickz events and other similar activities.

This role will not present in schools/youth clubs or any other youth-based setting and will not run any workshop sessions with young people.

The Community Ambassador Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and sustaining Community Ambassadors (‘Ambassadors’). This includes recruiting, training, motivating, encouraging and supporting all Ambassadors, enabling them to deliver effective results and reach as many people in communities as possible with the Crimestoppers message.

Volunteer Speakers are the face and voice of TWAM locally. They speak to local community groups such as U3A, WI and Rotary. Many are also comfortable speaking to churches. Others attend local events such as farmers' markets and craft fairs to spread the word and even collect tools. There are so many creative ways our ambassadors find to share the amazing work we do.

As a County Ambassador, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission by raising awareness of our work and expanding our reach in your designated area. You will have the opportunity to work closely with local volunteers, identify new opportunities for forming local groups, and help recruit collection points for donated tools.
